Tessa's Blessing

Tessa was blessed this past Sunday by her Father, It was a beautful blessing. It was a nice day, we had a nice BBQ with Family and Friends. On my side of the family there is 5 generations and Russells family there is 4 generations pics to follow!!!

Tessa was born April 15th @ 8:16am weighing 6lbs 5oz and 18.5 inch Long.I had her c-section and the Anethesiologist loved taking pics for us and tessa. Landen just loves her and we love her very much also, Landen is a great helper with his little sister. Its fun having a girl!!! Its not as difficult taking care of 2 kids as i thought it was. We love her very much and are greatful for her!!

New House!!

So were finally moving into our own house, and were so excited to moving into a new chapter in our lives, I will post pics of the house once we move in.
But a couple weeks ago we went again to Disneyland, and Ill tell you that lando just loved it this time! But we might not be able to go back for a while with our baby girl being born and the house but well see,

This pregnancy has been a little diffrent , I know have the prego diabities and its been different eating, Lets just say that I havent even gained any weight!!! with being sick the first 3 months and know the last three months im on a diet so. But im so excited to have my little girl!!

Christmas 09

Christmas has come and gone now for New Years!! Christmas was fun this year Landen is starting to figure out the whole santa thing, He loves Santa!! Here are some pics of our Christmas Day, Next year will be a whole other story with another little one around!!

Long Time !!

Sorry Its been awhile since my last post, I need to kick things in the butt!! Well not much has been going on, We went back to disneyland in Oct and headed back in February, we got Annual Passes so we got to use it up!!

Were expecting our second child in April, We are having a little girl and were going to name her Addison, We are so thrilled to have her coming into our lifes! Landen is so excited for her to come!!We are just getting thing ready for her.

Thats about all the most exciting news around our house, I will keep up this time! Here are some extra pics!!

Fun Times!!!

So I was just looking through my old pictures and just found these. My Grandma & Grandpa Hanson took us down to Zions Ponderosa. Russell and I were only married for 4 months. It was so much fun to be down there. here are some pics of us ( i just love russell hair, he was growing it out to a shag!!!)

Island Park....well Ashton, Idaho !!

We went up to Ashton, ID a couple weeks ago with russells family. We had a blast.We left on a friday morning and stoped at Maddocks for lunch. It was yummy!!! We stayed at this beautiful cabin. There was plenty of room for 25 of us!! The chids just played inside on the air hockey and ping pong table most of the time. The Men went snowmobiling everyday they had a blast. The cabin was right along side a River and it was beautiful. One Mid-Morning we saw 2 deer in the river just walking up it. It was nice to relax. But on the fourth day we were ready to come home. I only took a couple of pics of the room we were in. We had our own bathroom in our room. It was supposto be a steam shower but the steam didnt work! Catching up!!

So its been about a month since i last posted something. So i thought i beeter write something. Christmas was good this year. Landen finally gets the idea of opening gifts. He got a lot of toys this year. And a cool play slide from grandma greensides! He loves it! New Years we just had some friends over for dinner and games! It was a blast. Lando even celebrated the new year with us, but after it was straight to bed!!
Yesterday was landen first day in Nursery!! He did a really good job. I stayed in the room with him for a little bit until he didnt need me anymore. It was nice to actually go to sunday school!!! We also went to see the new Draper temple! We went for a special night. My aunt Debbie works at the church office building for the temples and they were doing a special night for them and there families. It was more like a test run to see if everything goes smoothly before the open house! And can i just say that i am truely amazed at how BEAUTIFUL that temple is. They call it a medium size temple. Every room is just amazing. Its very modern!! Love it. I Cant wait till it actually opens so we can go do a sesion!! Well that about all that happend this month. Christmas with a Little drummer Boy!

Today after work we put up our Christmas tree and all the decorations. I love christmas time. Russell got his christmas present early again. He wanted Guitar Hero World tour, Friday when we were out shopping he was trying really hard to find the game. For the people who dont know what game it is, you play as a band so u have the drums, guitar and a singer. He found one friday night, and he played it most of the day saturday. So as we were setting up the tree tonight lando was playing the drums for us. He has been playing with the drums and the drum sticks all weekend. Russell video taped landen playing with the drum sticks. Know I know what to get landen for his christmas gift. I just love my little man lando!!

Thanksgiving!

This thanksgiving was nice, we went to russells parents. It was a nice little group. We took our wii over so micah, morgan and thaddeus could play. Russell and I played the wii with them also. The week was so busy. There was always something to do. Friday we did a little shopping and then had dinner over and my parents house. Sat was my fathers birthday so we went out to lunch for it. I was really grateful to be with my family this weekend. we spent alot of time with them. All and all we had a great time!!

Russells Surgery!

Russell had surgery today. He had surgery on his Right shoulder. he had a Rotater cuff tare( i hope i spelled that right,probably not) anyways. Everything went perfect the doctor said. Russell is doing great! He has not even been groggy! When i had my gallbladder out and i came out of surgery i was so groggy and tired, i could barely keep my eyes open. But russell takes it totally different he was up and talking and walking around by himself. I tried to keep him down but u know him Mr, Independent!!!! Well see about the next couple of day. The doctors say that the next couple of days will be worse. So well see! Also funny thing is the nurse asked before surgery which arm it was that they were doing the surgery, so he said is right. So the nurse got a marker and wrote on his right arm the word "YES", just to make sure the doctors do the correct arm. I thought that was funny that they would forget which arm is the right one!! Girls Trip!!

My friends and I went up to park City just for the one night. My friend Melissa has a uncle that has a condo right by Jordanele resivor. So we went up sunday after noon and slept over just one night. It was so fun to have our girl time, which is talk, watch chic flicks and of course Shop!!! We all loved the shopping part. We ate at Red rock which was yummy!!! we were sad that a couple of our friends could not make it!! But we will do it again soon!!

Halloween!!

Halloween this year was fun! We went to mat and ruths house. We took ethe kids out trick or treating around there neighboorhood then went aback and had dinner and played games and just enjoyed eachothers company . It was so fun we had a blast. I hope we can keep doing it each year. Lando was a pirate this year and I am shocked he kept his hat on the whole time!!! Russell was a red neck!! Him and his friend went to a white trash party sat night so here are some pictures of there costume!!! Enjoy they are funny!!

This Week!

This week was all about my neice Emily! Emily is 8yrs old now. She is growing up too fast. I had the chance wed night to have a sleep over with her.It was so fun. we slept over at my sister wendys house. I watch wendy and hils girls on mon, tue, and thursday mornings. So we woke up on thursday which was early so Em and I could watch the girls. We made breakfast and then watched a movie!( i know to early to watch a movie!). My friend Larissa gave me a movie to watch it was called Penelope. Can i say that it was such a good movie, I recommend watch it. I said to Emily through the middle of the movie, "It is so nice to watch a movie while still in ur pj's" she laughed at me and said "Oh ya". After that movie she wanted to watch another one so we started to watch another one. Then later that day we went shopping, and let me tell u its hard to go shopping with a 8yr old. They want everything in site!!!! Then they cant just choose one item!! Even though i had a hard time it was all worth it to see how happy she was by the end of day!! It was my brothers weekend to have emily so on sat we had family picture taken so we had the chance to hang out with her more. That night we told emily that she could choose what was for dinner ,so after a moment of thinking she choose Chicken Pillows. and she helped do everything. She loves to help cook any second she can. We also make Halloween sugar cookie and we frosted them and decorated little pumpkins.It was so fun to have all of us together to enjoy each others company! we had a great time with emily and i hope i can see her and spend time with her!!

Disneyland was Awesome!!

We Got back from our trip Last sunday(oct 5th). It was so fun. They had Disneyland decorated for halloween. We had a 5day hopper pass so we got to cali on sunday late so we didnt go to disney land but we spent all day Monday(sep 29) and Tuesday. Then Wednesday we went to Long Beach and went to the Long Beach Aquairum. It was really intresting to see all the different fish that live in the Ocean. Then after the Aquarium we went on a little boat ride around the long beach marina. You learn something new everyday. Then Thursday we went back to disneyland and california adventure. That night we met up with Joe , Andra, Hailey, Mat and Kerry. We Went to dinner at the Spagetti Factory. It was yummy. Friday we went to the parks and spent alot of the day and night there since they close late on weekends. We did most of our shopping that night at downtown disney. I love that place its fun to walk by all the shops. We started our journey back home on Sat. We drove all the way through to st george where we stayed that night at my aunts condo. We woke up early sunday morning and drove the rest of the way. We all had a good time together.

DISNEYLAND here we come!!

Today lando and i are getting us ready to go on a vacation. We are going to St George today till Sunday. A friend of ours is getting Sealed in the Temple! Which im so stoked to visit the St George temple. We are staying in our Aunt Debbies condo, Which thank you so much deb!! Sundy we are going to drive to Cali. We will be there a whole week! We are going to go to disneyland and probably the beach and hopefully some other things as well. Im allso very excited to stop in Vegas on our way down! I love going on Road trips. I dont know why but i just love to drive and see the beautiful states. So we will not be back till Oct. 5th i believe. It is going to be along one, but very exciting. Of course u can tell we are a disneyland family, well i am i dont know so much about russell. This will be the second time going this year and the year isn't even over! We actually went down to florida to disney World with russells family in Nov. It was awesome to go , then we went to disneyland with my family in February . The whole family went wich was really fun to have everyone there. So now were going again . Well i better start packing and getting thigs together.

Starting to Blog!!

So I hear that the cool thing to do now is to blog. Its a good way to keep in touch with everybodys Busy life. So here we go Im going to do it. Hopefully i can keep up with it. Wish me Luck!!
